I’m Sam, a multidisciplinary designer from, and based on, The Wirral.

My work starts with gazing upon British industrial landscapes: the water towers, kilns, chimneys and railway masts. I take these forms and fading landmarks and turn them into furniture and objects for the home.

Each piece carries a small ritual, whether that’s lighting incense in a ceramic chimney or watching a chair throw the shadow of a factory tower. I make them alongside local fabricators and ceramicists, mixing a range of different materials.
