Two pale grey ceramic vases, one tall cone and one wide dome

Delving into the ceramic history of Stoke-on-Trent, I was taken by its bottle kilns. Two vases borrow the contrast between a kiln’s broad body and narrow neck, testing how far that balance can be pushed.
